well from now on my journal shall be defaulting to friends only.

i have been at rehearsal for the last 4 hours

i am already fucking sick of this musical only 2 weeks after we started. I want to kick myself. I have no singing talent and i need to get some in the next few weeks. Maybe leah will give me hers considering her musical is done.

i am now an OFFICIAL bridge player

i just made the ACT youth team

and am going to nationals in july in Adelaide!

who would have thought? back then in January i would never have expected this!

in other news i share a birthday with the real Emily Rose (of 'The Exorcism of...' fame)

of course her real name is Anneliese Michel, and yeah she was scary

but she was borng the same day as me...

i've decided bridge is harder than i ever imagined and am sorry i ever called hot guy nanna for playing it :D

this means that i have to apologise more than ever for being such an arse to him about it

and hope that he will teach me some of his bridge knowledge when he gets back from sydney

i've been reading bridge book and playing the learn to play bridge program that kev gave me

it's good, it's definately teaching me the basics of bridge

but i want to be taught in person it's too easy otherwise! (coz you can just click next without actually trying to figure it out yourself)

so yeah, sorry hot guy that i was an arse :(

Alpha team - GO; Operation: Mort Extraction

Becki is the ultimate in mort extracting power. she should sell her skill on the black market for mort extractors. i would pay good money for it.

maybe i should explain.

on a whim, whilst semi-drunk (tom was drunk, i was sober) tom and i rang mort after looking his number up in the magical white pages. we stressed that he should come to melbourne in the last week of january and visit us. then tom had a stroke of genius and told becki to get mort to come to melbourne.

skip through the rest of the new years party and then to this evening.

mort rings me (YES mort picked up the phone from coffs and RANG ME) and tells me he's coming to melbourne THIS THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so in a matter of about 14 hours becki has extracted mort to INTERSTATE!

*shocked and amazed at the powers of becki*

so mort arrives on thursday ad leaves on the 14th

i will be back in canberra on the 9th of jan!

OH and HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIZI for tomorrow (i wont be online tomorrow i have to clean up the house - mum's orders to prepare for mort's arrival!)

oh and tom is now the KING of fruedian slips (and tom's friend Wes is currently the most awesome, having stolen the crown from Tom in some damn good sausage cooking glory last night)

Tom says to me: 'i haven't seen any of your underwear yet'

the sentence was in context (i was saying how everything i was wearing last night was new!) but the added yet at the end was not required :P lol tom tom tom, now the world knows your only dream in life - to see my underwear! lol
and true he did see some of my bra later that night when it was showing coz my new top went all unco and then i was like oops need to fix the top and he's like no it's fine and i was like yeah it doesn't really matter the bra looks like the top anyway see and pulled down the top to show about an inch and a half of bra. so yes tom saw my underwear (or a whole inch and a half of it). he can predict the future. all hail tom the king of freudian slips who can also predict the future!

also kudos goes out to hot guy who sends me an sms at new years 'i'm at the harbour watching the fireworks over the bridge, suck on that' or something very similar to that effect. lol

i got my results

my heart did this little 'i'm-shit-scared-leap-thingy' as i logged into ISIS

i thought i'd get about 70 for astro and about 80 for scom. which an HD avergae does not make :(

BUT

i logged in and saw an 85, thought HEY i did better in SCOM than i thought

BUT NO - it was an 85 FOR ASTRO!!!

i was in tears over those assignments every single time i tried to do them. i literally cried with the strain of trying to do something for 8 hours straight and getting nowhere. even my google scholar and wikipedia binges didn't help me (although the astro section on wikipedia is quite useful...). Sunny was my saving grace and even then she wasn't THAT much help. HOW ON EARTH DID I MANAGE AN 85??????????
i choose to put it down to a miracle.

i also got 81 for scom

so i got my average for this measly semester and my average for the year is 77 which puts me at having to get 83 in both my summer subjects to not be on probation before i start honours :D

i am amazed

in other news i went to the doctor AGAIN today. the receptionist knows my name AND how to spell it. i am scared.

she's sent me off to another alergist and ordered me to eat gluten for two weeks before my blood test! should be interesting!

and she's brought up PCOS again and IBS and Thyroid Disease

i think it'd be classic if the reason no diagnosis has been reached yet is simply because i have ALMOST EVERYTHING AT THE SAME TIME! hehehe interesting prospect!

oh my escape from livejournal was short lived in comparison to a lifeimte, yet it took me a lifetime to CATCH UP on bella's journal.

i'm not even caught up yet and i've been reading for HOURS.
